Leen Broekhuizen is the Managing Partner of Bramley Partners. He has over 24 years of experience in energy trading, capital markets, compliance, and risk technology and processes. He has delivered trading, compliance, risk and control solutions to a variety of clients including oil majors, power and gas companies and investment banks.
Prior to founding Bramley Partners Leen held the role of Partner in SunGard Consulting Services where he founded the European commodities practice in 2006 and established relationships with key clients in the oil and gas, generation utility, and investment banking sectors in Europe. Leen has also worked in audit, banking and software based in the UK, Germany and the USA.
Well known for his expertise he has spoken at a variety of events and conferences on topics ranging from market abuse in the traded markets for gas and electricity to the working capital impact of regulatory initiatives.
Leen holds a BA(Hons) degree in Business Economics from the University of Reading, UK, a postgraduate Masters of Business Administration from The Open University, UK, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant training with Price Waterhouse in London.
